FAQS

As we work together on your wellness journey, please take a moment to review some frequently asked questions that we receive in order for us to better serve you on your next visit.

The Haile Medical Group is accepting new patients. Your appointment will be scheduled according to the availability of your provider. To schedule an appointment as a new patient, call us today.
The Haile Medical Group accepts walk-in and same-day appointments for both our established and new patients. Your wait time will depend on the openings that we have available. To reduce the amount of time that you might have to wait, we ask you to call our office ahead of time so we can schedule you in.
We are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On the day of your appointment, you should bring your I.D. and your insurance card. If you are currently taking any over-the-counter or prescription medications, you should bring a list of them, including their names and dosages.
If you need to cancel your appointment, you should call us directly to avoid a charge for failing to show. This allows us to make room for someone else on our schedule.
We require you to pay for your medical care when you come for your appointment. If you have medical insurance, most plans require you to pay a copay up front. Many health insurance plans also have a deductible amount. If you have not reached your deductible, you may have to pay for your care in full. Plans with deductibles begin paying after the deductible has been reached. Even after you have reached your deductible for the year, many plans still require co-insurance payments of a specific percentage of your services. Health insurance can be very confusing. It is a good idea for you to contact your insurance company to find out about your plan and coverage. When we provide services to you, we will bill your primary health insurance. Haile Medical Group accepts cash, Mastercard, Visa, and other types of credit cards for your convenience. If you are not insured, you are considered to be a self-pay patient. Many people have PPOs with specific networks of doctors. If Haile Medical Group is not in your network, we are considered to be out-of-network. However, our charges are affordable, and you might find that the out-of-network fees that you pay to us may not be much more than what you are charged by in-network providers. We are an in-network provider for most major insurance companies.
Haile Medical Group participates in most commercial insurance plans and Medicare. Since plans differ between patients, you should still call your insurance company to make certain that Dr. Alexander Kaye and Dr. Kimberly Kaye are in-network participating providers for your insurance plan.
Your health insurance is designed to cover some of the costs of your medical care. However, it may not cover every service that you receive. It is a good idea to call your insurance company to learn about the terms of your policy before you receive medical care at the Haile Medical Group. If your insurance company refuses to cover your services, you will be responsible for paying our fees out-of-pocket.
The doctors at Haile Medical Group treat children ages 12 months and older for sick visits. If you need a routine checkup for your child, we see children who are five years and older.
Haile Medical Group offers flu shots. During flu season, flu shots are available for walk-in patients while supplies last. Most insurance plans cover the flu vaccine. If you do not want to have your insurance billed, the cost is $45 for a regular flu vaccine or $75 for a high-dose flu vaccine. If you have questions about whether your insurance covers the flu vaccine, you should check with your provider.
If you have an existing prescription from the Haile Medical Group, you can use the prescription renewal request form on our website. When we receive your request, it will immediately be sent for a doctor's review. If we need more information, we will follow up with you. When we send your prescription to your pharmacy, we will email you. You can also call us to request a renewal of your prescription as long as you provide us with all of the relevant information.
